ELECTION RESULTS

On November 7, 2006, Pasadena voters rejected Measure A, the NFL ballot initiative in a landslide, 72% to 28%.

Measure A was rejected in every City Council District, including the districts of the NFL proponents (Councilmembers Chris Holden, Paul Little and Joyce Streator).

Measure A won only 7 precincts (four precincts in District 1 and three precincts in District 3) out of 87 precincts in the City. Measure A lost in every precinct in Districts 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Absentee voters rejected Measure A by a 74% margin.

Here are the Measure A "No" votes from voters who voted at the polls on election day. Absentee voters are not included in the following:


District 1 (Streator) = 61% No

District 2 (Little) = 73% No

District 3 (Holden) = 54% No

District 4 (Haderlein) = 72% No

District 5 (Gordo) = 66% No

District 6 (Madison) = 84% No

District 7 (Tyler) = 76% No
